The new brief set Alight..

Now the deicer campaign is out the way, it's time for a new module. The Professional Practice Brief was a live real brief ran by Toby and a client called Rachel Mallaband who briefed us a couple days ago for the task of creating a new brand identity for an event called Alight.

It ties in with the run up to the Olympics with Alight being Yorkshire's cultural Olympiad project for Music Nation. It's being backed by the BBC and London Organising Commitee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) and its a countdown event for the London 2012 festival. Sheffield will be alight on the 3rd March next year which consists of a music festival containing a day full of dance, music and visual arts. The day will consist of three different events....

After the briefing a lot of us was confused by what she wanted due to the fact she kept changing the answers when it came to us asking her questions. This was mentioned to Mel and we found a solution to the issue in the end. The job is quite an almighty one for us advertisers as their is no branding at all for Alight but we've come up with a good brief to help us along the way.
